Consul General Li Huaxin delivered a speech at the closing ceremony of the conference, expressing warm congratulations on behalf of the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney to the World Guangdong Federation and the World Guangdong Overseas Chinese Youth Conference. He said that the World Federation of Guangdong Associations was held for the first time outside of Asia, in Sydney, and was also a significant event attended by all Guangdong overseas Chinese groups in New South Wales, Australia, including Chaoshan, Hakka, and Guangfu from Guangdong.

The theme of the conference "A Century of Guangdong Overseas Chinese Road, Caring for the Chinese Dream" fully demonstrates the three major themes of "revisiting history, integrating culture, and looking forward to the future", and has achieved fruitful results. President Li pointed out that the vast number of overseas Chinese from Guangdong and their associations distributed around the world have made indelible contributions to the economic prosperity and social development of their countries of residence and ancestral home. They have played a unique role in promoting friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries in the world, contributing to public welfare and philanthropy worldwide, actively building harmonious overseas Chinese communities, and building a good image of Chinese, and have won the respect of people from all countries. I hope that Guangdong overseas Chinese from all over the world will continue to carry forward the spirit of hard work and dedication, work together with one heart and one mind, and strive for the takeoff of China and the early realization of the Chinese Dream!
