Biography
Mr. Dongcai Chen, originally from Panyu, Guangdong, is a veteran Chinese-Australian entrepreneur and community leader. He currently serves as the Executive Vice President of the Australian Guangdong Chamber of Commerce, a Director of JWDT Group, and a Justice of the Peace (JP) in the State of New South Wales. Since moving to Australia in 1989, Mr. Chen has been dedicated to advancing Sino-Australian trade relations and strengthening the role of the Chinese community in business, culture, and civic engagement.

Mr. Chen is one of the early-generation Guangdong entrepreneurs to expand into the Australian market. In 2017, he was officially appointed as a Justice of the Peace (JP) in NSW, a recognition of his civic contribution and leadership in the Chinese community.
He has played a key role in promoting the “Go Global” strategy for Chinese enterprises, particularly in the fields of modular construction, renewable energy, and cross-border supply chain integration—helping Chinese companies build partnerships with Australian governments and industries.
